That’s what we try to capture through the photographs we take at your wedding. We want to touch your heart every time you look through your wedding album or watch your CD. We want every feeling to come flooding back; warm memories of the wonder and splendor of your wedding day.
We only photograph weddings for friends
This has been our basic philosophy since we started. There is no more personal day in your lives than your wedding day, and we want our presence to be a very positive part of it. That’s why everything we do is designed to add to your day, not intrude upon it.
Therefore, we think it’s important to have a very comfortable working relationship with you by the time your wedding day arrives. That’s why we include the “Romantic Notions” engagement session in our most popular packages. By the time we’ve spent several hours together creating these photographs, any photography phobias will have vanished. When we walk into your dressing room on your wedding day, you’ll be greeting friends who are going to do something very special for you. And from then on, we’ll have so much fun creating your wedding photographs that you’ll forget to get nervous!
Storytelling photography
Our goal is to tell the entire story of your wedding day through our photographs. The combination of beautiful, naturally posed formals, and storytelling photojournalistic black and white candids will capture everything that is special about your wedding. While other photographers will take 100 to 150 photographs, it’s not unusual for us to take 800-1200 in a day. We have no specific limit, and since we are not constrained by the cost of film and developing, we are free to take as many as we want to do the job.
Not just the result, but the experience
We think the experience of being photographed is just as important as the final result. No matter how good your photographs are, if your experience with the photographer was negative, you’ll never enjoy them.
We tend to adopt the couples we photograph, and you’ll find us very caring and nurturing on your wedding day.
