Special Events and Featured Sessions
We'll be revising the list of special events and opportunities as we add more. So check back periodically.
We recommend booking your appointment early, because many of these special opportunities will fill up, and remember every session requires a planning consultation ahead of time so that we can get the best possible results.

The Color of Fall - Tentatively October 16, 17, and 18th, October 23, 24 and 25th, and October 30, 31, and November 1 (depending on leaves and weather)
We're so lucky to have such specatular falls in the northwest. Frequently, the days are warm, the nights cool, and it's one of my favorite times of the year. We're also blessed with some incredible scenery as all the trees begin to change color.
This setting give us a wonderful opportunity to create some incredible portraits. Join us in he park for hot apple cider and an hour session creating something your family will treasure for years. Great for seniors and children as well.

Home for the Holidays - November 27, 28
If your family is like ours, about the only oppoprtunity to get them all together happens around the holidays. Take advantage of this rare occasion by having your family portrait created in your home while it's decorated for the holidays. Book your session early, because only two appointments are available each day.

Snow Portraits in Bend - February 19-21 (tentative)
If your family loves to ski, snowboard, or otherwise have fun in the snow, take advantage of this great opportunity to to have your portrait created doing what you love to do.
We'll be in Bend, so portraits at Sun River, Bachelor, Black Butte or any other central Oregon location will give you a great opportunity to capture your family in a portrait you'll hang proudly in your home.

Family Special Event
Camas Flowers - Mid April (depending on the flowers)
Picture an incredible sweep of purple camas flowers stretching all through the oak groves at Bush Park as far as the eye can see. That's the wonderful setting in which we'll create special portraits of your child, your family or your senior during this special portrait opportunity. So many people in our area don't even know this spectacular vista exists, but it's a stunning setting for portraits. See the website for samples.

Create a special gift for mom on mothers day that's guaranteed to make her cry.
How better to melt mom's heart than to give her a wonderful portrait of those she loves most in the world. (Works on Grandmothers as well).
Enjoy either our RELATIONSHIPS style portrait in the studio, or we'll custom design what we do for you. We'll be open special evening hours to make it easy on Dad, plus we'll have some special products designed just for this special session. Prints will, in most cases, be finished in time for Mothers Day

Children's Special Event
Along about March, we have all grown weary of winter's drizzly, gray, cool days. But walk through the gardens and you'll see wonderful signs of nature's reawakening. Starting with the Crocus, then the Daffodils, and then the Tulips.
This session is 30 minutes in the wonderful spring gardens at Deepwood. But even better than the gardens will be the woodlands surround the house. Buck, the head groundskeeper, and a man with great passion for the potential of this city park, has worked diligently with volunteer labor (and no budget) over the last several years clearing out all the invasive blackberries and ivy from the woodlands. Taking over are what will be an incredible display of native wildland flowers perfect for photographing not only your small children, but just about anyone who enjoys natures beauty.
Our Children's Limited Edition sessions feature a 20 minute session with portrait packages at special spring prices. Dress your child in a raincoat or something you don't mind getting dirty of damp, and we'll create some wonderful images of the wonder in a childs eyes as they explore the beauty of the world around them.May
