The most common comment we hear from brides and grooms is that they don’t want stiff, posed photographs. They want them to look as if the moments had naturally occured, representing their style, their personalities, and the personality of their relationship.

But you also can’t leave great photographs simply to chance. They must be created, and that is, in part, what you’re paying us for.

Our style is what we call “directed”. A good stage director is responsible for the setting, the lighting and the mood of what is seen on stage, but then allows the actors to insert their own style, their own interpretation into the scene. We do the same thing. Our photographs are a team effort, with us “setting the stage” and giving you direction, and then letting your own styles, your own personalities come through. Something as simple as a subtle change in expression can turn a good photograph into a great one, and it’s only with a natural style and approach that such little nuances will come through.
