I will NEVER forget the days my children were born (the youngest is now 26, so it was a while ago). The absolute wonder of holding this new little life in my arms was one of the most overwhelming and awe inspiring experiences of my life. As I looked a my new little daughters, so totally helpless and dependent on us, I knew exactly why God put me on this earth. And I'm glad to say that to this day, that's still how I feel.. Parenting is my absolute favorite roll. Even as old as my girls are, I still enjoy being "daddy"
My hope is that every parent feels the same way. This time right after birth is filled with wonder. Nearly every day, you'll notice changes. At first, so tiny, so delicate, so helpless, and so totally dependent on you, they quickly change from newborn to infant, and from infant to toddler, and they do it right in front of your eyes. At each stage, they're different, and it's important that you capture each of these fleeting stages while you can.
Our Beginnings sessions are designed to capture all the significant steps in their growth and development in a way that will keep them tiny forever (or at least capture the memories so you can remember this time in their lives when they needed you the most).
We recommend a newborn session, followed by a 4 months, 8 months, and then that all special first birthday.
